As of June 2026 , FMQs happens on Tuesdays from 2:30pm until 3pm, and Thursdays, from 2pm until 2:30pm. It doesn't happen during recess.
During FMQs, the First Minister answers questions from opposition party leaders and other MSPs.
It's the most popular session of Parliament to watch, and demand for tickets is high.
Bookings on a Tuesday include Time for Reflection and General Questions.
Bookings on a Thursday include General Questions.
