What originally started as a solo project by frontman Sam Robb, who began busking and playing acoustic gigs around the local scene became the band as it is today with the addition of Colm Soutar (Lead Guitar), Owen McCann (Bass) and Mackenzie Inglis (Drums). Since the band has formed the sound has evolved from acoustic guitars to powerful indie-rock anthems carried by overdriven guitars and raw emotion. Arienas started playing live just 4 weeks after Mackenzie joined the band, supporting established artist Louis Berry at Stereo, Glasgow. Since then Arienas have proceeded to play many more gigs, supporting the likes of Sam Scherdel, RATS, and Sergeant. In June 2025, the band's debut single Aurelia was released to streaming platforms, soon followed by their debut headliner which sold out just weeks after being announced. As of right now, Arienas are celebrating their newly released 2nd single Holy Grail to streaming platforms and have shows lined up till the end of 2025.
