Explore the Journey of the Octave:

Upon arrival at the Club Room in Huntly, you’ll receive a Glenallachie 2011 Journey of the Octave kit. Your host will guide you through the tasting, explaining how the Octave cask influences the whisky at each stage. The remaining kit is yours to take home after the session. The kit includes three 3cl samples (1 x Pre-Octave, 1 x 4 Weeks into Octavation, and 1 x 8 Weeks into Octavation), a 20cl bottle of the final Octave, a pipette, and an Octave-branded Glencairn glass.

Following the Glenallachie 2011 Octave Journey tasting, you'll sample three additional whiskies from the Octave range: an Islay, a Highland, and a Grain Octave, offering further exploration of the collection

Food and nibbles will be available to order throughout the session.

Once the tasting concludes, you'll have access to the Club Room, where you can unwind and continue exploring Duncan Taylor's whisky collection at the bar.

The bus stop in Huntly Square is just a minute's walk from the Bank Restaurant, and the Huntly train station is only about a 10-minute walk from the Bank Restaurant. The local taxi service, Oak Kabs, is also available.

For those driving, free driver's packs will be provided.
