Expand your knowledge, explore flavours and create whisky memories as you enjoy a two-hour tutored whisky and food tasting experience featuring Speyside whiskies, each perfectly paired with Scottish delicacies by Master of the Quaich, Ann Miller.
You will taste four drams, paired in turn with small plates of smoked salmon, cured meats, locally produced cheese served with oatcakes plus a sweet treat. This entertaining and informative experience in Ann's Dram Room showcases Scotland's wonderful food and whiskies as well as their stories.
As you taste each dram, Ann discusses its distinctive features and relates these to the distillery where it is produced, explaining their different production, distillation and maturation methods and linking them to the creation of flavours in the drams. She shares tasting notes, encouraging you to discover as much as possible in each dram and explains her inspiration for each pairing. Over 18s only.
Following a long career in whisky, Ann Miller, the Dram Queen, a Master of the Quaich and Lifetime Ambassador for the Festival, now offers a range of independent whisky experiences including tutored tastings, events as well as immersive training courses for novices and enthusiasts. She is always happy to share her passion, knowledge and behind the scenes expertise. Find out more and book other events directly at https://www.dramqueen.co.uk.
