Exclusively for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival we are opening the doors of the Burghead Maltings. This is an extremely rare opportunity to be guided through the Maltings with your experience culminating in a tasting that showcases how the same ingredient can create an array of different styles of spirit.

Typically closed to the public, Burghead Maltings produces a vast amount of malted barley for distilleries throughout Scotland so don’t miss out on this unique experience! Following your tour, your host will guide you through a nosing and tasting that showcases the diverse range of single malt whisky produced from the malt from Burghead Maltings.

Due to the nature of the building, the tour will involve walking on various surfaces including open mesh flooring at varying heights therefore, we advise that visitors wear flat comfortable shoes for the visit. Heeled or open toed shoes are not suitable.
