Information

Time for something special for all electronic music lovers at one of Reading's best live music venues on Saturday 13th June...

Readipop presents: XOX 2026 at Oakford Social Club (right next to Reading Station) will feature six incredible live electronic music performers from across the UK alongside live visuals, all lovingly curated by Readipop's XOX & RG EMOM teams. Special guest performer and co-host will be Martin Christie (founder of the EMOM movement) and the night will also include the premier screening of "A Year in the Life of RRG EMOM" mini documentary by BAFTA winning filmmaker Matt Hulse.

Movement81 are well-known on the EMOM circuit and beyond for their amazing AV performances as well as for hosting the Lemontronic EMOM in Swansea. They have supported Max Cooper, Plaid and more with their unique blend of indie synth and dance music coupled with immersive visuals. Their debut Reading live set for us will be utterly unmissable!

Mentat is a London-based EMOM performer making improvised and ever-evolving live techno and progressive house from one of the best-sounding compact modular synth rigs we've ever seen. You’ve gotta hear this live and loud!

Bloco Electrohed are a live electronic drumming supergroup made up of XOX's very own Electrohed, Projected Form & Big Box Little Box. XOX 2026 will be their very first set together from this accomplished collective so we sure to be in for a treat.

Who better to have join in the fun at XOX 2026 than the one-and-only Martin Christie, founder of the EMOM movement back in 2017! Martin is also a poet, author, and producer and will be performing and co-hosting on the night. Besides, we all owe him a collective thank you!

Sophie Sirota brings a touch of class, creating evolving ambient soundscapes using strings, vocals, effects and live looping, taking us to places we can only imagine.

Spryt Electra is what happens when 80s/90s synth pop hangs out in Berlin for a while. Expect warm retro analog vibes infused with driving beats.

Halfway through the live performances, we'll present the premier screening of "A Year in the Life of RRG EMOM" mini documentary by BAFTA winning filmmaker Matt Hulse. Expect many familiar faces from the last twelve month of RG EMOM to make an appearance (perhaps including yourself if you performed or attended!).

To make the night even more special, after the live acts finish at 11pm, we have DJ sets from the Readipop XOX team (who have previously DJed alongside The Orb, 808 State and more) delivering electronic classics for the Oakford dancefloor until 1am

The event is for ages 18 and above and tickets are free...be sure to get yours early as there is limited capacity.

Doors open at 6pm and the first act begins at 6.30pm.
