Omid Shirkhorshidi
Born in Tehran, Omid is an Iranian multi-instrumentalist. Born to a family of artists and with the support of his Father and Brother, Omid started learning music; playing the piano and Iranian traditional instruments such as Serar, Tombak and the Persian DAF . His main instrument is the Piano and second instrument is the Setar, but he's also skilled in percussion, Classical Guitar, Accordion & Tabla; playing music from around the world.

He joins us in Edinburgh after having to leave Iran because the IRGC was trying to arrest him for his political activities against the regime there.

Blair Coron
Blair Coron is a musician and poet from Springfield, a small village in Scotland. His quiet and intimate music blends modern classical, storytelling and traditional melodies, with themes of nature, people, time and place. Through music, words and cinematography, Blair's primary intention is to create enchanting atmospheres that sets course for introspection and connection to the landscapes surrounding us.

After the success of his debut album On the Nature of Things, Blair released his second album and accompanying film Cairn, in collaboration with the School of Scottish Studies Archives and National Trust for Scotland and funded by Creative Scotland. It is a celebration of Scottish heritage, a thank you to all it has given so far, containing new music set to archival interviews of those living in the Highlands and Islands during the early 20th century discussing local legends, childhood reminiscences and traditions long forgotten.

Currently, Blair is writing his next studio album after a period away from music due to the loss of his father. Alongside this he is writing his first poetry book and planning multiple tours throughout 2026.
