Gerardo Rodrigues is a Portuguese pianist and composer known for his emotive, cinematic works that blend neoclassical elegance with modern intimacy. His music invites listeners into reflective, deeply human soundscapes.
He released his first solo album, “Improvisos” (2020), during the pandemic lockdown — a heartfelt collection of spontaneous piano pieces. That was followed by “Estado de Alma” (2021), a personal, introspective album, and “Night&Day” (2024), a continuation of his intimate cinematic style.
Gerardo has become a rising presence in the modern classical scene. The 2025 shows have been packed houses. An Ireland–Scotland–England tour is scheduled for November 2025 and his Japan Tour for March 2026.
In 2022, he was awarded Professional of the Year by the Rotary Club of Peniche for his cultural and community impact.
