Manipulate favourites Cie Bakélite will visit EIF this summer with their show Hostile, following previous performances of L'amour du Risque, Invaders, and Stick Up! at Manipulate Festival. Artistic Director Olivier Rannou will offer a workshop in his distinctive, madcap object theatre style.
Heavily inspired by cinema and popular culture, Olivier Rannou transforms materials and objects to create surprising scenography and theatrical writing that highlights adventure and comedic situations. Cie Bakélite is a renowned object theatre company in France and internationally.
This workshop is suitable for professionals, educators, and anyone who wants to discover the world of object theatre.
In addition to the workshop, participants will receive a ticket to see Hostile by Cie Bakélite as part of the Edinburgh International Festival.

Performance – Church Hill Theatre – 6.00pm
