Sean Bell, Andy Ingamells, Risteárd Ó hAodha
Andy Ingamells will present a series of solo pieces in which he uses his voice in a variety of different ways to create music that is sometimes humorous and sometimes unsettling. He may also be joined by a secret special guest poet, and in this case will perform a few numbers on the cello.
Risteárd Ó hAodha is an experimental cellist who mixes electronic music with their performance. Expect noise, ambience and a bit of the absurd.
Sean Bell presents Dowland Downloaded, a re-imagining of songs by renaissance composer John Dowland (1563–1626). Armed with a self-built electric baroque guitar and a cassette player, Bell constructs a new world where Dowland’s timeless texts and melodies unfold in unexpected ways.
