Learning the first steps of walking with Nordic poles on a 5K circular route
A Nordic walk of 5 km / 3.5 miles, learning the technique as we walk with special adapted Nordic poles.
This walk is mainly flat with a variation of enclosed paths and town paths (tarmac).
The pace will be steady and we will stop for breaks & a blether!!

Walking trainers or boots are fine. It will be low level walking on paths including dirt, tarmac, compact sandy walkways & grass. There maybe some mud which we will try to avoid!
Not suitable for dogs on this walk but I can advise how to Nordic walk with your pooch!
Participants aged 16 to 99 are welcome.
Facilities at the start of the walk and a toilet in Amisfield garden.
Lots of cafes at the end of the walk in Haddington
What to bring
A waterproof, light layers of clothing and comfortable footwear.
Bring a drink and a snack in a waist pack or small rucksack.

There are regular buses to Haddington and a car park with a three-hour time limit at the back of Tesco, as well as a long stay car park off Neilson Park Rd, EH41 3DT.
