Untold Stories: Tales from the Town’ is a community theatre project led by Live Borders Arts & Creativity and Heart of Hawick, focusing on exploring some of Hawick’s most iconic buildings and their past, present and future inhabitants.
Staff from Live Borders Museums, Galleries and Scottish Borders Archives including The Heritage Hub and Borders Textile Towerhouse together with a local historian sparked creative ideas for writers to respond to. Participants were given the choice to either focus on script writing or acting with the aim of developing a showcase of short performances supported by Clare Prenton and Ellie Zeegen for both Heart of Hawick and Duns PlayFest.
