In a cosy cottage on a storm-lashed evening, four women in their 40s gather for what begins as a light-hearted séance to lift the spirits of their friend Dawn, recently fired from her job. But as rum is poured, candles are lit, and an invocation to the notorious Countess Elizabeth Báthory is made, the tone shifts from playful to chilling.

What starts as a game of revenge and retribution quickly spirals into something far more dangerous when the storm outside unleashes a supernatural force inside. Tensions rise, secrets unravel, and the women are forced to confront the consequences of their own darkness.
Control is a modern horror-thriller exploring guilt, rage, friendship, and the terrifying costs of taking justice into your own hands. It combines biting humour with supernatural suspense, exposing how the need for control can twist even the most well-meaning intentions - and how society often misjudges the anger and vulnerability of middle-aged women.
